I woke up early, we had the flat to ourselves so it felt more like waking up at home, instinctively I went by the window, wanted to see what Istanbul had waiting for us outside, the stunning view left me breathless, the Golden Horn inlet, the buildings, people outside, the cars on the street and the architecture so different to what I’had seen before in my travels.
